DESCRIPTION

SPECTIN-1000 is a broad-spectrum antibacterial oral powder containing Lincomycin Hydrochloride and Spectinomycin Sulphate. It is specially formulated for the treatment and control of bacterial infections affecting the respiratory and gastrointestinal systems in poultry and livestock.

Lincomycin acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and is effective mainly against Gram-positive organisms and Mycoplasma species. Spectinomycin provides rapid bacteriostatic activity against Gram-negative bacteria, especially those involved in enteric infections. The combination ensures a synergistic effect, offering wide antibacterial coverage and effective control of mixed infections.

INDICATIONS

SPECTIN-1000 is indicated for the prevention and treatment of infections caused by Lincomycin and Spectinomycin sensitive organisms, including:

  • Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)
  • Mycoplasmosis
  • Colibacillosis (E. coli infections)
  • Salmonellosis
  • Necrotic enteritis
  • Infectious synovitis

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Administer 1 gram of Spectin 1000 per 1 liter of drinking water for 5-7 days

STORAGE

  • Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
  • Protect from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
  • Keep the container tightly closed after each use.
  • Store in the original packaging to maintain stability and potency.
  • Do not freeze the product.
