DESCRIPTION

LINK ZONE-40 is a highly effective macrolide-class antibacterial water-soluble powder containing Lincomycin HCl USP. It is specially formulated for the prevention and treatment of bacterial infections in poultry and livestock caused by Lincomycin-sensitive organisms.

Lincomycin acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, providing strong activity against Gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasma species. It is highly effective in the management of chronic respiratory disease (CRD), necrotic enteritis, infectious synovitis, and other respiratory and enteric bacterial infections.

INDICATIONS

Poultry:

For the prevention and treatment of:

• Necrotic enteritis (Clostridium perfringens)
• CRD & Airsacculitis (Mycoplasma spp.)
• Improvement of weight gain and reducing mortality
• Infectious synovitis (Mycoplasma synoviae)
• Dermatitis (Staphylococcus Infections).

Non-ruminating calves (Calves that do not eat dry feed):

• Enteritis
• Pneumonia

Non-ruminating sheep & goats:

• Contagious footrot
• Respiratory infections
• Clostridium infections

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Poultry:

Administer 3-6 mg Linkzone-40 per kg of body weight for 7 consecutive days this corresponds with approx. 17mg of Linkzone-40 per liter of drinking water.

Necrotic enteritis:

• Prevention: 65-110 g Linkzone-40 per ton of feed.
• Treatment: 110 g Linkzone-40 per ton of feed for 7 days.

Mycoplasma infections:

150 g Linkzone-40 per 2000 ml of drinking water, for 7 days (5 mg/kg body weight/day)

Growth stimulation:

5 g Linkzone-40 per ton of feed

Cattle Topical spray or Foot Bath:

1.5g Linkzone-40 powder per liter of water once a day for 3 consecutive days (600mg Linkzone-40 per liter of water).

PRECAUTIONS AND STORAGE

Not to administered to animals with known hypersensitivity. Linkzone-40 should not be used in pocket pets, ruminants and horses. It has been implicated in severe or fatal Clostridial enterocolitis. It should not be used in animals with a yeast (Candida) Infection.

Store dry, in a well-closed container, below 25 degrees centigrade and protect from light.

Keep out of the reach of children.
