COMPOSITION

Each 100 ml contains:

• Enrofloxacin as HCl ...... 10 gm
• Colistin Sulphate ...... 5 MIU
• Bromhexine ...... 0.50%

DESCRIPTION

TRI-RID is a broad-spectrum antibacterial and mucolytic oral solution formulated with Enrofloxacin (as HCl), Colistin Sulphate, and Bromhexine. It is specially designed for the effective treatment of mixed bacterial infections associated with respiratory and gastrointestinal systems in poultry and livestock.

Enrofloxacin provides strong bactericidal activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens. Colistin Sulphate acts locally in the gut against Gram-negative bacteria, particularly E. coli and Salmonella. Bromhexine works as a mucolytic agent, helping to liquefy and remove respiratory mucus, thereby improving breathing efficiency and drug penetration in respiratory tissues.

INDICATIONS

TRI-RID is indicated for the treatment and control of:

• Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) complex
• Colibacillosis (E. coli infections)
• Salmonellosis (enteric infections caused by Salmonella spp.)
• Infectious respiratory infections associated with mucus buildup
• Air sacculitis and bronchopneumonia

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Poultry: 1gm/litre of drinking water for 3-5 days.

Cattle & Buffalo: 10ml/400kg B.W.

Horse: 9ml/350kg B.W.

Sheep & Goat: 1ml/40 kg B.W

STORAGE

• Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature (below 25°C).
• Protect from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Do not freeze the product.
