DESCRIPTION

NORAZONE is a broad-spectrum respiratory support and antibacterial oral solution containing Norfloxacin, Aminophylline, and Guaifenesin. It is specially formulated for the effective management of respiratory infections in poultry and livestock.

Norfloxacin provides potent antibacterial action against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms responsible for respiratory and enteric infections. Aminophylline acts as a bronchodilator, helping to relieve airway constriction and improve breathing efficiency. Guaifenesin works as an expectorant, aiding in the removal of mucus and clearing respiratory passages.

INDICATIONS

Nora zone is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections in poultry and livestock caused by susceptible bacteria. It is especially effective in: Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)---- Infectious Coryza Mycoplasmosis Bronchopneumonia Mixed infections involving mucus buildup and airway inflammation

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

For poultry (broilers, layers, breeders): 1 gm per 2 liters of drinking water. Administer for 3–5 consecutive days or as directed by a veterinarian.

For large animals (cattle, sheep, goats): 0.5 gm per 10 kg body weight, orally or mixed in feed/water. Duration: 3–5 days, depending on severity

PRECAUTIONS

  • Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones.
  • Observe withdrawal periods: • Meat: 7 days • Eggs: 5 days
  • Provide plenty of fresh water during treatment.
  • Avoid combining with other bronchodilators unless prescribed.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
