DESCRIPTION

MEGLUVET Solution for Injection is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing Flunixin Meglumine, a potent analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory agent. It provides rapid relief from pain, fever, and inflammation associated with various systemic and localized conditions in animals.

INDICATIONS

MEGLUVET Injection is indicated for:

• Treatment of fever (pyrexia) associated with bacterial, viral, or toxic conditions.
• Relief of pain and inflammation in musculoskeletal disorders.
• Management of respiratory diseases with fever and discomfort.

DOSAGE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION

Intravenous route

• Cattle: 2 ml/45 kg b.w. (2.2 mg of Flunixin/kg bw.), once daily for up to 3 consecutive days
• Horses: For Musculo-skeletal disorders at the following rate: 1 ml/45 kg b.w. (1.1 mg of Flunixin/kg bw), once daily for up to 5 consecutive days
• For colic at the following rate: 1 ml/45 kg b.w. (1.1 mg of Flunixin/kg b.w), repeated once or twice if colic recurs

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD MEAT

• Cattle: 14 days,
• Horses: 28 days
• MILK: 24 hours

STORAGE CONDITIONS

• Store at 2°–30°C (36°–86°F)
• Use within 60 days of first vial puncture
• If using a spike/needle larger than 16-gauge, discard vial contents immediately after use.
