DESCRIPTION

Wermizone Oral Drench is a potent broad-spectrum anthelmintic formulation containing Levamisole Hydrochloride (USP) 15% w/v. It is specially designed for the effective treatment and control of gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes (roundworms) in livestock. Levamisole acts rapidly by affecting the nervous system of parasites, causing paralysis and their subsequent expulsion from the animal's body. This ensures quick relief from parasitic infections and reduces the overall worm burden.

INDICATIONS

Wermizone drench is a broad spectrum anthelmintic that is effective in the treatment and control of all nematode infection in cattle, sheep and goats. This includes mature and immature stages of nematodes, including strains resistant to other anthelmintics. It is effective for the control of levamisole sensitive gastrointestinal roundworms and lungworms including those that are resistant to benzimidazoles.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

To be given as an oral drench by a drenching gun at the following rate:

  • Cattle: 25 ml per 50 kg body weight.
  • Sheep & Goats: 25 ml per 15–25 kg body weight.

WITHDRAWAL TIME

  • Meat: 3 days
  • Milk: Milk taken from animals within 24 hours of last treatment must not be used for human consumption or processing. This milk should not be fed to baby calves.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Protect from heat and store in a cool & dry place at 25°C.
  • Shake well before use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
