DESCRIPTION

DOXY ZONE 50% is a broad-spectrum water-soluble antibiotic formulation containing Doxycycline Hyclate, a highly effective tetracycline-class antimicrobial agent. It is designed for use in poultry and livestock for the treatment and control of a wide range of bacterial infections.

Doxycycline works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth and multiplication of susceptible organisms. It is highly effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as Mycoplasma species, making it especially useful in respiratory and systemic infections.

INDICATIONS

Doxyzone 50% is indicated for the therapeutic treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease, Air Sac Inflammation, Infectious Synovitis, Fowl Cholera, Infectious Coryza, Colibacilliosis, Necrotic Enteritis and Chlamydiosis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

The recommended daily dose of doxycycline is 10mg/kg body weight for 5 days. Administer 1gram Doxyzone 50% in 5 liters of drinking water for 5 consecutive days.

PRECAUTIONS

• Use strictly as directed by a veterinary professional.
• Ensure accurate dosing in drinking water to avoid under- or over-medication.
• Prepare fresh medicated water daily; do not store prepared solution for long periods.

STORAGE

Store in a cool, dry place below 25–30°C, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
Keep the container tightly closed after each use to prevent clumping and loss of potency.
