DESCRIPTION

LEXOB is a powerful combination oral antibiotic formulation designed for the effective treatment and control of respiratory and bacterial infections in poultry and livestock. It contains Lincomycin Hydrochloride, Spectinomycin, and Spiramycin Adipate, which work synergistically to provide broad-spectrum antibacterial and antimycoplasmal activity against a wide range of pathogenic organisms.

Lincomycin and Spectinomycin are highly effective against Mycoplasma infections and chronic respiratory diseases, while Spiramycin enhances activity against respiratory pathogens and secondary bacterial complications. The addition of Bromhexine Hydrochloride acts as a mucolytic agent that helps loosen and remove mucus from the respiratory tract, improving breathing and increasing antibiotic penetration into infected tissues.

INDICATIONS

For use in chickens up to 7 days of age as an aid in the control of Airsacculitis caused by either Mycoplasma synoviae or Mycoplasma gallisepticum susceptible to lincomycin-spectinomycin. Complicated Chronic Respiratory Disease (Air Sac Infection) caused by Escherichia coli and M. gallisepticum susceptible to lincomycin-spectinomycin.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Provide 2 grams (g) antibiotic activity per gallon of drinking water. Administer as the sole source of water for the first 5 to 7 days of life.

PRECAUTION

Discard medicated drinking water daily and replace with fresh medicated drinking water.

STORAGE

  • Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Keep the pack tightly closed after use.
  • Keep out of reach of children
